An Event as Wild as the West

June 20th and 21st, 2020      Lions Club Arena      Encampment, Wyoming

The Riverside-Encampment Lions Club is proud to present the 60th Annual Woodchoppers Jamboree & Rodeo.  Held annually over Father's Day, this action-packed weekend celebrates our valley's rich timber and ranching heritage. Morning Woodchopping events are paired with an afternoon of traditional Western Rodeo. Guests excite as the chips fly with logging competitions including the two-man handsaw, log throw and even a "Mad Logger" chainsaw throw! Rodeo enthusiasts love the thrill of traditional events including team-roping, saddle bronc, bull riding, and more. Kids activities include a sawdust pit, greased pole, mutton busting and plenty of excitement. In addition to the main woodchopping and rodeo events, visitors can browse the handicrafts of local vendors, enjoy delicious wood-fired barbecue, grab a piece of pie and sip ice cold beer or soda. The fun never stops at the Woodchoppers Jamboree and Rodeo. Check back often, as this site is in progress!

Don't Miss It!

By far, the most exciting weekend in Wyoming. This is the real deal. It's like the Loggers Olympics meets Iron Man Rodeo. Plus great stuff for the kids, Wyoming barbecue at its finest, and some of the nicest people I've ever met. This was everything I wanted in an authentic western vacation packed into two fun days. We will be come back to the Woodchoppers Jamboree every year"
